Halloween!! Probably my favorite time of year. I think I wrote this exact same line last year but my neighborhood really goes all out for it and I love seeing skeletons and stuff everywhere. This year I was sick and busy so I didn't really have time to make a costume. I got a Dr. Doom cape and mask from spirit halloween which was fun. Walking around with a big ass cape was a good time. The mask mostly stayed off though except for a few pictures.
Thursday my pinball league had its Halloween tournament (which was just another league night but in costumes tbh). Lots of good costumes, my fave was my friends who dressed up as the fisherman from Fish Tales and they made a big paper mache fish head you had to wear if you got an extra ball. Also they brought the Elvira game Scared Stiff in to play outside which was cool and I was able to get on the high score board.
Saturday another group of friends hosted a halloween party at their place for the second year in a row. Very fun! They went crazy with the decorations and my friends all went crazy with the costumes too. I smoked a lot of weed and felt nothing so I think something might be wrong with me. Next year I really gotta make a cool costume from scratch (thing I say every year but haven't actually done since 2018 when I made a god of war Kratos costume).
Sunday went to Nathan's coworker's birthday party and got yummy Chinese food (we were 10 minutes late for dim sum.. sad) and ate a lot of candy. Very social this weekend to make up for the week where I was sick and did nothing. Felt nice! My november is very booked too so it should be fun. I also need to book a hotel room to go visit my grandma for thanksgiving... note to self lol.
