I know there are more important things going on in the world right now that we should be pressuring the US govt to do but it's kind of shocking that we haven't gotten rid of daylight savings time yet because it sucks shit. I've been very out of it for the last two days but some of it is partially my fault because I stayed up late playing Marathon last night for 4 hours then immediately tried going to bed so I've been in a fugue state today. At least we're in a warm stretch for the next few days and all the gross dirty snow outside is melting.
Another busy week last week. Work had us doing virtual trainings all week for the new project management software they're giving us so not a lot happened in terms of actual work which was nice but I know this week is gonna be crazy because we're making like 20 emails and brochures for clients at once that are all due at the same time. This season of pinball league also wrapped up, I did Just Okay but I did get two almost perfect scores this season which did feel insanely good. The real drama is that we have to elect a new league president and the guy currently running it (who isn't great!) doesn't seem like he wants to give up power. Sound familiar? LOL!!!!!
I'm back in the dating game again and went out with a kind older gentleman I met on tinder on Friday. It went better than the last time I went out with an older man because we had more in common and this guy had actual hobbies. I have a picture of myself wearing a Kratos costume on halloween (classic gay gay costume am I right) and he complimented me on it then showed me his costume that he made which was very cool and he did mog me a bit LMAO but he's hot so it doesn't matter. I'm seeing him again for tacos on Wednesday and at some point we're gonna play Diablo 4 together so pretty epic...
Saturday I played in person DnD for the second time ever and it was really fun. It was less on the roleplay and more on the decision making and combat which I think is the way to go despite me making insane backstories for any MMO or tabletop character I create. Our DM also had really cool and fun miniatures he had made for the crazy giant skeleton boss we had to fight which ruled. I want to play again soon!!
And finally on Sunday I trekked down to my hometown to get fitted for a tux for my friend's wedding. I'm a groomsman in two of my friend's weddings this year which is going to be very fun but also a lot of planning LOL. But I got this out of the way and we booked flights for my other friend's bachelor party in Denver so it's a little easier to budget now.
I should probably start my taxes tonight but I kind of want to play Street Fighter instead. We'll see what the vibe is.
